Authorized use only
WC Rate Compare is an internal tool for authorized Done For You Insurance Services staff. Accounts are granted to named staff members, are not transferable, and may be suspended or removed at any time. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Estimated output only
The output is an estimated indication, not an offer of coverage, and not bindable. Actual premium is determined by the carrier.
The tool does not model all factors that can affect premium. Factors not included are:
- Minimum premiums
- Expense constants
- Schedule-rating eligibility rules
- Carrier appetite and underwriting
- Tiering and company placement
- Deductible credits
- Endorsements
- Terrorism and catastrophe charges
- Payroll limitation rules for executive officers and partners
- Dual-wage threshold verification
- Filings made after the edition date
Data basis and currency
The tool uses California Department of Insurance filed manual base rates from the September 2024 edition. That edition may be out of date, and later carrier filings may not be reflected.
The tool and its data are provided as available, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
No professional advice or carrier relationship
The output is informational and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, underwriting, or other professional advice. Use of the tool does not create a relationship with any insurance carrier or obligate any carrier to review, price, or accept an account.
Acceptable use
You may use the tool only for authorized work for Done For You Insurance Services. You may not scrape or automatically extract the tool or its data, resell or redistribute the rate data, share credentials, bypass access controls, interfere with operation, or use the tool unlawfully.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Done For You Insurance Services is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the tool, inability to use it, outdated data, or reliance on its output. You remain responsible for reviewing the underlying information and obtaining carrier confirmation before acting.
Indemnity
If your unauthorized or unlawful use of the tool causes a third-party claim, loss, or expense, you agree to defend and reimburse Done For You Insurance Services and its officers, employees, and agents to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
